Commercial printing in
Golden Valley, Minnesota.

Golden Valley is a straight run east, and close enough that a rush job can be picked up rather than shipped.

Printing for Golden Valley businesses

Golden Valley mixes corporate campuses with small manufacturers, which means both ends of what we do: long-run brand collateral off the Heidelbergs, and numbered carbonless forms and labels that keep a shop floor running.

Two of the Heidelbergs here are perfectors, which means they print the front and the back of a sheet in one pass instead of two. Less handling, one trip through the press, and fewer chances to mark a sheet that is already printed on one side.

The shop-floor half of the same city wants something else entirely: business forms, sheet labels for product and asset tagging, and pads made up in-house. That is old work, and it is still work.

Both ends finish in the same bindery — folding, stitching, three-hole drilling, shrink wrapping, coil and GBC binding — so a job does not leave the building half done and come back a week later.

What runs here

It is one floor for all of it: offset printing at one to five color, digital printing for the short runs, prepress and direct-to-plate, bindery, and direct mail. What comes out of it is on the products page; what it comes off is on the equipment page.

Sending artwork. A press-ready PDF with the fonts embedded is the least trouble for everyone. If the file is too big to email, put it through send a file; small ones can go to print@omegalith.com. If all you have is the native layout file, send that — prepress will tell you what it still needs rather than guessing.

In practice

What Golden Valley work
tends to need.

Both sides in one pass

A perfector prints front and back on a single trip through the press. Two of the Heidelbergs here are perfectors.

Forms and labels

Business forms, padded or drilled for a binder, plus sheet labels for product, shipping and asset tagging.

Finished, not just printed

Folding, stitching, drilling, shrink wrapping and coil binding all happen here rather than at a trade bindery across town.

Questions

Good to
know.

What is a perfector?

A press that prints both sides of the sheet in one pass. Two of the Heidelbergs in this shop are perfectors, which is why two-sided work does not need a second trip through the press.

Do you print business forms?

Tell us what the form has to do — carbonless sets, sequential numbering, padding — and we will tell you what runs here. Sheet labels and three-hole drilling are done here alongside them.

How do I get a price?

Send the specs through the quote form or call (763) 475-1826. The panel beside this page lists what a quote needs.

Where is the shop?

15090 23rd Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55447. East of us, inside the 394 loop. Proofs go out as an emailed PDF or as a hard copy, whichever the job needs.
