St. Louis Park has a high concentration of medical, dental and clinic offices, and those are appointment reminders, recall postcards and patient forms — printed, addressed, presorted and dropped at the post office by us.

A reminder run is really two jobs. The printing is the easy half; the half that eats an office's week is addressing, sealing and getting it to the post office. The Cheshire transport addresses each piece from the list and wafer seals it in line with addressing, so that half happens on one machine.

Then there is a choice worth making deliberately. Presorted standard costs less per piece and moves slower; first class costs more and moves faster. A recall card going out six weeks ahead and one going out next Tuesday do not want the same class.

The paperwork side is plainer: business forms, pads made up in-house and sheets drilled three-hole so they file in a binder without anyone standing at a punch.
